• Respond to your enquiry about pet relocation
• Connect you with certified pet relocation specialists who can assist with your route. Specialists in our network pay a fee to receive enquiries matching their service area — we do not sell your data for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes, and specialists may only use your information to respond to your enquiry
• Improve the quality and relevance of our content and tools

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the GDPR, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, given when you voluntarily submit the Pet Travel Checker form and accept the specific consent statement presented at that time. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at pettravelhelp2026@gmail.com.

5. How We Store Your Data

Information submitted through the Pet Travel Checker is stored in a secure Google Sheet accessible only to The Pet Travel team. We use Google's infrastructure, which complies with GDPR requirements.

We retain your data for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission, after which it is deleted.

6. Who We Share Your Data With

We share your contact information and enquiry details with certified pet relocation specialists operating in your relevant country or region. This is a paid referral service: specialists pay The Pet Travel a fee to receive enquiries, but your data is never sold for advertising, resale, or any purpose beyond responding to your relocation enquiry.

Each specialist we work with is contractually required to use your data only for this purpose, to protect it under applicable data protection law, and to delete it upon your request or after our standard retention period. Specialists act as independent data controllers for the data they receive and are separately responsible for their own compliance with data protection law.

7. Cookies

Our website may use essential cookies to ensure basic functionality. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

If we introduce additional cookies in the future, we will update this policy and request your consent accordingly.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
