Origin Schedule
Requirements depend on which schedule your origin country falls into. Schedule I (Australia, New Zealand, UK, Ireland): only DHP/FVRCP vaccination needed, no rabies blood test. Schedule II (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, USA, and other listed countries) and Schedule III (all other countries): rabies vaccination and titer test required.
Microchip + Vaccinations
ISO-standard microchip required. DHP/FVRCP vaccination at least 14 days before export for all schedules. Schedule II and III pets also need a rabies vaccination at least 28 days before export. Pets under 1.5 years must show proof of primary and booster DHP/FVRCP records.
Rabies Titer Test (Schedule II/III only)
Required at a WOAH-approved laboratory in a Schedule I or II country, with a minimum 28-day wait after vaccination before the blood sample is taken. After sampling, a 3-month waiting period applies before export. Not required for Schedule I origins.
Parasite Treatments
Internal and external parasite treatment required 2–7 days before export for dogs and cats.
Import Permit + Dog Licence
An import permit is required for all pets, applied for online with the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS). A valid dog licence must be in place before applying for a dog’s import permit. Since April 2026, self-clearance is no longer permitted — all import clearance must go through an AVS-approved pet agent.
Pregnancy Restriction
Pregnant pets are not permitted entry into Singapore.
Health Certificate
AVS veterinary certificate plus a government health certificate, both endorsed by the official veterinary authority of the exporting country.
